As part of the Port Mann/Highway 1 Improvement Project, there will be a series of detours and closures in Coquitlam/Cape Horn this weekend. What to expect: · Starting February 2, and continuing for four nights, access to Highway 1 eastbound from Lougheed Highway via the Cape Horn Interchange will be closed from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Lougheed Highway traffic travelling to Highway 1 eastbound will use the Brunette Interchange approximately three kilometres to the west.
· Starting February 3, and continuing for three consecutive nights, Highway 1 westbound will detour at the Cape Horn Interchange and re-enter Highway 1 at the Coleman on-ramp.
· Between February 3 at 9 p.m. and February 6 at 5 a.m., the Mary Hill Bypass on-ramp to Highway 1 westbound will be temporarily closed. Vehicles will be detoured north along United Boulevard to Lougheed Highway, entering Highway 1 at the Coleman Avenue on-ramp.

As part of the Port Mann/Highway 1 Improvement Project, access to Brunette Avenue northbound from Highway 1 westbound (Exit 40A) will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday) night between midnight and 4 a.m. Drivers wishing to access Brunette Avenue should use Exit 44 at the Cape Horn Interchange to Lougheed Highway eastbound as a detour route. Drivers are reminded to watch for electronic message boards, and to exercise caution at all times. Please watch for work crews and equipment and obey all traffic control personnel and signs, including construction speed limits. Speeding fines are double in construction zones.

As part of the Port Mann Highway 1 Improvement Project, there will be twenty minute stoppages and lane closures for the next two weeks in the vicinity of United Boulevard and the Mary Hill Bypass. These temporary traffic pattern changes will be in place between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., and will allow crews to continue work on the Port Mann Bridge. Motorists are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly and may wish to use alternate routes during this period. Please watch for work crews and equipment and obey traffic control personnel and signs.
